NHS Lothian, Oct '22 - Aug '24- Created, managed, and maintained network directories for users across the entirety of NHS Lothian whilst accommodating their unique needs for access control, data type, storage space, and expected growth
- Deployed and managed virtualised infrastructure with VMware vSphere
- Extensive use of PowerShell scripting to automate administration tasks
- Administered SQL databases for third party applications on Windows Server
- Developed and executed data migration plans for teams with large network directories as part of storage server management
- Working with the Digital Operations team to provide high quality service to over 30,000 users and over 600 servers
- Monitoring and managing server storage via Nagios to quickly respond to shortages
- Automated the installation process of the Nagios client through PowerShell scripting to reduce server build times
